Why It's Dangerous

Why It's Dangerous

Persona hijacking is effective because it doesn't feel like an attack — it feels like a creative exercise. The model, trained to be helpful and to engage with hypothetical scenarios, often complies because the fiction framing makes the request seem harmless. This technique has been used to extract harmful content, bypass safety filters, and leak proprietary instructions from production systems.
